Review samsung Galaxy Note7

UPCOMING SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 | www.shoutupdatez.comSamsung’s PenUp app lets you share your creations in the Pen Up social community for S Pen artists. You can browse artists, participate in drawing challenges, and connect with fellow artists.

The curvy screen also has different traits than the Edge. While the latter is more rounded on its corners, with a gradual slope at the edges of its screen, the Note 7 has steeper curves and a slightly smaller chin. Those design elements make it feel premium, more refined, and somehow less bulky than the Edge. They also let you get closer to the edges of the screen when you’re working with the stylus.

While the S Pen is undoubtedly the heart of the Note experience, the screen is a close second. The Edge features that debuted with 2014's Note Edge were perfected through the S6 edge and S7 edge of the following years. Even the Always on screen was improved, despite being only months old (perhaps it was just waiting for the S Pen, their interaction is the best new feature).

Like all of Samsung’s flagships, and even some of its cheaper phones like the Galaxy J3, the starting point is the Super AMOLED panel. It might not have the viewing angles you get with an IPS LCD, but the oomph and joyous colours more than make up for that. Samsung’s honed this display technology over time and it’s now the best it's ever been.

EDITORS’ NOTE: At the moment we do not recommend purchasing the Galaxy Note 7 as Samsung has issued a recall citing a problem with the “battery cell.” Even if you’re dead set on the Note 7, sales have been halted. You’ll have to wait until the issue has been fixed, and Samsung begins shipping the device again. You can read more about the recall here. We have lowered the score, for now, and removed our Editors’ Choice badge.

This is Samsung's ultimate phone, with all the Edge's curved-screen goodies and more: 64GB of storage instead of the Edge's 32GB. An iris scanner for unlocking the phone with your eyes. A good, refreshed take on Android. A USB-C charger port that also charges up your other devices (you should buy a USB 3.1 cable for faster data speeds). New pen tricks to magnify, translate languages and make an animated GIF. A nighttime filter you can schedule to automatically give your weary, screen-staring eyes a break.

As much as I loved my time with the compelling, beautiful, functional Note 7 -- and I really did -- I hesitate to recommend it to anyone who isn't serious about using that digital S Pen to draw, write and navigate on the phone. The S Pen has some minor issues, too. It isn't perfect at everything. Sometimes wielding the stylus feels natural; other times tapping and typing make more sense. (Though it does make really great annotated photos, Snapchat snaps and social-media GIFs.)

Colin August 5, 2016, 1:32 am First of all The Note and S Series are not iPhone rip-offs. The Note defined and lead (and still leads) the larger screen smartphone market and as such if anything the iPhone 6 and 6S are rip-off devices and pale imitations with both the Samsung series being regarded as better phones than the equivalent Apple models. Second as for disappointing they are regarded as the top models in their class and some if not the most beautiful phones money can buy!IOS since version 7 has been trying to copy Android and Android app features. Touch-Wiz whether you like it or not has improved massively and brings features that make the most of the larger screen and stylus, something Apple has failed miserably at.Fisher-Price is used to describe iPhones or the Apple Watch its sad to see you turn that one on some of the most beautiful and productive phones there are.As for Blackberry what % of the market do they sell to less than 1%? Yet another stupid comment the world disagrees with you.Why pity me, my Samung phones work really well, far better than any iPhone I have ever tried, far more robust and reliable, better looking, better design, more functional and flexible, better in every way. I hated blackberries never owned one and history proved me right.Colin

The Galaxy Note 7 takes Samsung's best phone to date, the S7 Edge, stretches it to a 5.7-inch curved display and adds an S Pen stylus. It has the same top-of-the-line camera and specs, but it's meant for big hands with equally big wallets.

Let's be honest, 0.2 inches of additional screen space doesn't make a tremendous difference in a world where the 5.5-inch S7 Edge exists. It's just a hair better for reading a few more words without scrolling, gaming with a smidge more room for on-screen controls without dying, and watching a 12-hour Netflix binge without feeling as badly for not stopping. It's not your fault, it's the immersive screen!
